1.0.0.6: Modding security (October 31)
- Changes the modding system to improve security. Some mods may break until their authors update them.
- Adds a "Menu / Back" key binding that does everything Esc does.
If your game misbehaves after this patch, disable your mods first.
1.0.0.5: Hotfix and bell hotkey (October 30)
Useful changes
- New rebindable hotkey for the counter bell, set to B by default. Hold it to dismiss the current customer.
- Water Purifier price cut from 300 to 250.
- The Merchant now keeps visiting every Sunday after you buy the store.
- You can drag any bandage onto a Glass Shard to make a Glass Shiv, and the bandage isn't used up.
- The Scavenger's Token can now be kept in the Dossier.
- The Inventor now stocks the Gene Scanner once Rat Ranching is unlocked.
Display
- The frame rate cap now uses VSync and follows your monitor, which fixes stuttering and tearing. You can turn it off in Options.
- Better fullscreen support on non-16:9 monitors.
Worth knowing
- Opened crate contents are now final. They no longer change when you reload after your luck increases.
- A store with its power cut now stays dark until the next night's power check.
- Water customers now tell you to remove the filter from a Water Pitcher instead of silently refusing it.
1.0.0.2: Water balance (October 28)
This patch makes water a much better early business:
| Item | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Moisture Farm | 650 | 350 |
| Water Filter | 50 | 25 |
| Dr. Jackson's markup (Normal) | 25% | 15% |
It also reworks the Water Purifier so it's easier to use, and Lou can no longer be shot during her visits.
1.0.0.1: First hotfix (October 28)
- Reporting Lou to Security no longer lowers your Black Market reputation.
- Items in a Smuggler Bay are no longer confiscated in two edge cases: when the bay is in the trash can, or when a Mini Smuggler Bay was kept behind the poster.
- The Merchant now states the discount he actually takes on your difficulty.
1.0: Launch (October 28)
The full release added nine starting scenarios, four difficulty options, the store buyout ending, completed character storylines, Steam Workshop support, vending machines, new starting perks, a UI overhaul and 21 achievements.
What's next
The developers plan regular free updates. They've named Junker, Organ Trader and Street Food Vendor starts, Expeditions, new appraisal items and a main story expansion.
