Quick answer
One guide counts 36 recipes across five machines. Job time depends on Required Work and machine speed. The 3D Printer has 15 chips, the Furnace turns 2 ore or scrap into an ingot, and Hydroponics grows seven crops. Modules change output only at certain thresholds.

3D Printer
Load a chip and materials, then add power. The chip stays in the printer, so you can repeat a print. The printer's base value is 350, and it uses 8 energy with a base speed of 24 work a night.
Print time is disputed
One guide says each chip prints overnight. A guide site and a player report that the .22 Pistol chip needs 50 work, which takes 3 nights at base speed. The full work table for other chips hasn't been published.
The Metal Printer Module (value 300) unlocks metal chips, and with the CNC Module (value 400) it unlocks frame and Gun Parts chips. It's required for 10mm magazines, frames, Gun Parts, Combat Knives and Combat Machetes.
Filament has a base value of 12, Scrap Metal 10 and Electronic Parts (Common) 33.
| Chip | Materials | Output | Value each |
|---|---|---|---|
| x2 .22 Pistol | 3 Filament | 2 Liberator Pistols | 40 |
| .22 Pistol | 2 Filament | 1 Liberator Pistol | 40 |
| x4 Improved Springs | 2 Scrap | 4 Improved Internal Springs | 20 |
| x4 Makeshift RDS | 1 Filament, 1 Electronics | 4 Makeshift Red Dot Sights | 25 |
| x4 Toy Laser Pointer | 1 Filament, 1 Electronics | 4 Toy Laser Pointers | 18 |
| x6 Small Plastic Bottle | 1 Filament | 6 Small Water Bottles | 4 |
| x2 RDS | 3 Scrap, 1 Electronics | 2 Red Dot Sights | 60 |
| x2 Laser Sight | 2 Scrap, 1 Electronics | 2 Laser Sights | 50 |
| x2 Silencer | 5 Scrap | 2 Suppressors | 55 |
| x2 .22 Magazine | 1 Filament | 2 .22 Magazines | 15 |
| x2 High Cap. .22 Mag. | 2 Filament | 2 High Capacity Magazines | 25 |
| x2 Ext. .22 Mag. | 3 Filament | 2 Extended Magazines | 35 |
| x2 10MM Magazine | 3 Scrap | 2 10mm Magazines | 30 |
| x1 High Cap. 10MM Mag. | 2 Scrap | 1 High Capacity 10mm Magazine | 40 |
| x1 Ext. 10MM Mag. | 3 Scrap | 1 Extended 10mm Magazine | 50 |
The 3D Printer Calculator ranks these by profit per print and shows which chips need the Metal Printer Module.
Furnace
Two materials plus power make one Metal Ingot overnight, and the Furnace uses 8 energy. More ore means better purity. A demo-era guide lists:
| Input | Standard | With Blast Module (3 in, 2 out) |
|---|---|---|
| All scrap | Low | Low |
| Mixed | Fair | Fair, or High with 2 ore |
| All ore | High | High |
| Quality | Ingot value (demo) |
|---|---|
| Low | 42 |
| Fair | 50 |
| High | 62 |
| Very High | 75 |
| Perfect | 100 |
Quality only raises purity in full 100% steps, so 99% does nothing. Performance has no effect on the Furnace, and each 12.5% Efficiency saves 1 energy. In one launch-week run, an unmodded Furnace made about 22 credits per smelt from scrap, or 30 with Flux.
Flux and Perfect ingots are disputed
One guide says Flux adds a purity step and stops being consumed at 100% Quality, but doesn't stack with it. Another says Perfect needs Quality on top of Flux. One player reports that 2 ore, Flux and 100% Quality only reach Very High, and that Perfect needs 200%. A separate site says six Quality modules add only 48%, so Perfect may be out of reach for now.
Hydroponic System
Each crop needs seeds or spores, a water container and power. A harvest takes about a day or two.
| Crop | Harvest | Value each | Seeds returned |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kotton Fiber | 9 | 46 | Yes |
| Coffee Beans | 8 | 28 | No |
| Dream Cap | 8 | 23 | Yes |
| Nutrifruit | 5 | 12 | Yes |
| Fillerweed | 4 | 11 | Yes |
| Bloomberry | 8 | Not listed | No |
| Hydroreed | Cleans water only | Not listed | Yes |
Cryptographic Desequencer
Each recipe needs a Desequencer chip and a Disposable Keycard from the same department. It uses 10 energy and has a base speed of 33 work a night.
| Chip | Work | Nights at base speed |
|---|---|---|
| Service, Supply | 75 | 3 |
| Engineering, Medical | 100 | 4 |
| Security | 125 | 4 |
| Command | 150 | 5 |
These work values come from demo testing.

How modules work
The Module Calculator does this for your setup.
| Module | Performance | Efficiency | Quality | Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Performance | +16% | 70 | ||
| Efficiency | +16% | 70 | ||
| Quality | +8% | 70 | ||
| Overclock | +36% | -44% | 100 | |
| Eco | -16% | +32% | 100 | |
| Refinement | -8% | -15% | +25% | 100 |
Speed is base × (1 + Performance%). Power is base × (1 - Efficiency%), never below 1, so negative Efficiency costs extra energy. Quality only counts at a quarter on the 3D Printer.
A job takes Required Work ÷ speed, rounded up. That's why a small module can seem to do nothing: it only helps when it crosses into fewer whole nights. On the Desequencer, 100-work chips drop to 3 nights at +4% and 2 nights at +52%.
A standard bay fits about six 2×2 modules. A Module Bay Expansion Kit (150) opens more space on standard machines.
